Our Farm was started midway through the last century and since then, through five generations, our family continues to make history in Reggio Emilia area, day after day and with great pride.
An history of food products which are simple and yet unique and unparalleled in the world, an own personal cultural heritage which we are proud to witness and uphold through the years.
‘La Razza’ owes its historic name to the fact that, inside it, there was a large equestrian center where horses were bred and reproduced, which were purebred (“di Razza” in Italian).
Nowadays, ‘La Razza’ is home to a wide range of farming activity: from the “Bottega” (the shop where we sale our typical products) to the pig breeding, from the feed mill to the farm, the true agricultural heart of the estate, passing through the vineyards, up to the part of the Agriturismo where we offer accommodation in rooms with B&B treatment, area camper, summer swimming pool, meetings rooms and lots of fields.
We extend over three municipalities in the foothills and the Reggio Emilia plain but, despite the size of 150 hectares, all cultivated with Organic methods and the diversification of products, our activity remains strictly family-run.
